Pascual, Perez, Kiliddjian and Associates (PPK) was chosen to design the Coco Palm Bicycle and Pedestrian Bridge, which included the design of the bridge landing areas and the unique organic flooring pattern of the bridge. PPK also suggested lighting for the bridge. PPK successfully gained architectural board approval in Coral Gables allowing Miami-Dade County to keep the project on schedule. The firm was also contracted to complete the construction documents for the project.
